Academic Records for Current Undergraduate Students, Current Graduate Students, Graduates, and Discontinued Students
Description:
Acceptance Letters, Advanced Placement Records, Applications for Admission or Reentry, Relevant Correspondence, Placement Test Records, Transcripts from High Schools and Other Colleges, Credit by Examination Reports (AP, CLEP, PEP), Curriculum Change Authorizations, Name Change Authorizations, Transfer Credit Evaluations, Withdrawal Authorizations, Academic Action Authorizations such as Dismissal, and Enrollment Verifications except for Veterans Administration

Not Applicable except for FERPA provisions

Record Copy Retention:
Retain for five years after graduation or date of last attendance.
Record Copy Disposition:

Confidential Destruction: Destroy hard copies; delete electronic copies; destroy copies in other formats.

 

Other Copies Retention:
Records may be retained as long as they are useful to the department but not longer than five years after graduation or date of last attendance.
